Pehlwan Goth Road is the main road from the front entrance connecting the society to the city.
Society is known for its mixed ethnic population which is mainly made up of Muhajirs, Punjabis and Sindhis. Jamia Ashraful Madaris is a large Masjid-Madrasa-Boarding school with thousands of students living in the society.〔http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/mobile-phones/5149874/Fatwa-issued-over-mobile-phones.html〕 The society lies in the Gulistan-e-Johar Police Station police division.
Society is also near the Dow International Medical College, University of Karachi, NED, Habib University, SUPARCO, PAF Base Faisal, Karachi Race Club, Drigh Colony railway station, Metro Cash and Carry, Aladin Amusement Park and Safari Park.
